Injury report: Dak Prescott added to injury report

Quarterback Dak Prescott was added to the injury report on Thursday after being limited to practice with right ankle pain.

Dak revealed the news during his media briefing and insisted he was fine and it was just a shoe issue. Prescott said he tried Jordan 11 cleats and didn’t like the way they felt. He said he didn’t roll or twist his ankle.

“I feel great. I still feel the best I’ve felt in a long, long time…I’m ready to go. I promise you.”

He said it was the same ankle he injured in 2020. The team is “just very, very careful…I’m just excited and ready for Sunday.”

Prescott said he plans to return to the Jordan 1 cleats he wore. When asked if his ankle would be a problem on Sunday, he replied “no, no. No way. No chance.”

Michael Gallup was in fine form on Thursday as he continues to recover from his torn ACL. He’s unlikely to play on Sunday, but I wouldn’t rule anything out after that.
