Student-athlete Murray State Golf John Buchanan was recently selected to attend the NCAA Career in Sports Forum (June 2-5) in Indianapolis.
The Career in Sports Forum is an annual educational program that brings together 200 selected NCAA student-athletes to discover and explore potential careers in sports, particularly varsity athletics. This unique three-day forum helps student-athletes chart their career path. Participants network and learn from current athletic professionals.

Notable speakers will cover relevant topics to help prepare attendees to successfully navigate their future. Topics to be covered include: self-awareness and its role in professional development; practical approaches to job search in sport; personal branding; develop a career plan; manage you as a sports industry professional. Through panels, engaging small group discussions, keynote presentations and facilitated dialogues, program participants come away from their experience with a deep understanding of athletics as a career path and their place in the athletics landscape. industry.
The forum allows attendees to network with their peers and decision makers at the campus, conference, and national level of collegiate athletics. The content will meet the following program objectives.
